The GreenIT consortium supports national and international initiatives that advance green IT and aims to realize a movement to significantly increase energy efficiency, while at the same time strengthening the innovative and economic potential of the ICT sector in the region.

ICT~Office is the trade association for over 500 IT, telecom, internet and office companies in the Netherlands. ICT~Office represents a business community with a turnover of almost €30 billion and over 250,000 employees making it the foremost advocate and representative of the Dutch ICT and Office sector. ICT~Office’s activities are grouped into three core programs: Business Promotion & Applications, People & Talent and Knowledge & Skills.

The Climate Neutral Group assists companies on the path towards becoming climate-neutral by measuring their carbon footprint and advising on reduction, and offsetting what they can't reduce. This approach to carbon management enables companies to lower operational costs while simultaneously contributing to a better environment.

The Green Grid is a global consortium of IT companies and professionals seeking to improve energy efficiency in datacenters and business computing ecosystems around the globe. The organization seeks to unite global industry efforts to standardize on a common set of metrics, processes, methods and new technologies to further its common goals.

The EU code of conduct for datacenters is an initiative of the Joint Research Center of the European Commission. It provides guidelines, recommendations and examples of best practice which could lead to a reduction in energy consumption by data centres in Europe of up to 20%. The key aim of the code of conduct is to encourage datacenter operators to reduce energy consumption without hampering the performance of such facilities.

Data Center Pulse (DCP) is a growing, non-profit, datacenter industry community founded on the principles of sharing best practices amongst its exclusive membership. Founded in late 2008, DCP is quickly becoming an industry nexus for the explosive datacenter industry’s operators and influencers. DCP’s mission is to align end users to share information thereby influencing the industry by defining, adopting and driving best practices and next generation solutions. The DCP members are the individuals that evaluate, recommend and purchase the products and services for the datacenter. They represent billions of dollars of annual purchases that drive the IT economy.
